Certificate of Pharmaceutical Product (CPP)

The CPP is a certificate issued according to the format recommended by the World Heath Organization (WHO) to help under resourced drug regulatory authorities in importing countries to assess the quality of pharmaceutical product as a prerequisite of registration and/or importation. This helps to more quickly establish the status of a pharmaceutical product, as well as the applicant for the CPP certificate in the exporting country. It provides a snapshot of the regulatory status of a single pharmaceutical product and demonstrates the product has been successful in passing the requirements of the issuing regulatory body in the country of export. The CPP is used by authorities in the country of import to verify information such as: Product details including the name, formulation and dosage form, and proves compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Australia Halal

Muslims may select vegetarian options when there are no other appropriate Halal choices. However, simply selecting a vegetarian product does not automatically qualify it as Halal due to the likelihood of cross contamination from other meat and/or alcohol products manufactured using the same equipment. Muslims are expected to consume meat products as part of a healthy and balanced diet.
Halal Australia takes responsibility for verifying that the products it certifies are genuinely Halal. They oversee numerous companies involved in a variety of industries such as food and beverage, abattoir operations, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and healthcare. Please look for the Halal Australia logo on products if you are unsure.
